About the Checklist:

Brief-write up

Parenting is the process of raising children, including all of the responsibilities and activities that go along with it.
The bond between a parent and a child is one of the most important in a person's life. Parenting is one of the first connections a child makes, and the parental relationship sets the standard for everyone else.
Parenting style refers to how you interact with your child as well as the set of strategies you employ to raise your child.

Changing to a more positive parenting style may be beneficial to your child and your relationship with them.

Determine your distinct parenting style and fine-tune it to give the child what they need when they need it.
Being a balanced parent is a constant struggle, but it is worth it to give your children all the love and care they deserve. At the end of the day, parenting is a highly personal experience that requires a significant amount of time, consistent effort, and constant reevaluation in order to be successful. No parent is perfect, but taking the time to improve your parenting style is undoubtedly a wise investment in yourself and your family.

Why use this checklist?

Eblitys parenting style checklist is based on the model of Baumrind Parenting Styles. According to this there are four styles of parenting: Authoritative, Permissive, Uninvolved, and Authoritarian.
This checklist can be used to understand the parenting style that a parent uses in order to promote the development of their child. Knowing one's parenting style can help a parent gain insight into how they deal with their child and, if necessary, modify their parenting style to better support their child's needs.
