ADHD is one of the most common childhood conditions and it can continue through adolescence and into adulthood.
In this module, we will gain insight into the fundamentals of ADHD, challenges faced by children with ADHD and how these challenges impact the child’s academic performance, behaviours, social skills and daily life functioning in different settings. This module also focuses on the evidence-based intervention strategies that can be used to improve the outcomes of children with ADHD.
This module will equip caregivers/parents and professionals with the knowledge to identify early red flag signs of ADHD in children and help them learn strategies to improve attention, sitting tolerance and impulse control in children with ADHD. Also, learn techniques to effectively support children with ADHD at home, in the classroom and in other social settings.
